Categories of Membership
The Association has two categories of membership as follows:
Ordinary Membership
Any applicant applying to be an Ordinary Member shall be required to meet all the following requirements at the time of application:
- Any corporation, company, firm, agent or any other form of business entity duly incorporated or registered under the relevant law of Singapore with its main business activities related to the rubber trade and industry; and
- Undertake to abide by the Constitution and/or resolutions of the Association.
Associate Membership
Any applicant applying to be an Associate Member shall be required to meet all the following requirements at the time of application:
- Any corporation, company, firm, agent or any other form of business entity duly incorporated or registered under the relevant law of Singapore or other countries; and
- Undertake to abide by the Constitution and/or resolutions of the Association.
Details of Admission Criteria
- The Corporate Applicant must have been incorporated in Singapore for at least 1 year at the time of Membership Application.
- The Paid-up Capital must be minimum S$1,000,000-00.
- One recommendation letter each from the three sponsors. All three sponsors must be current members of RTAS and a brief profile of the Corporate Applicant.
- At least one of the sponsors must be an incumbent Board Member of RTAS.
- One of the sponsors must be present at the RTAS Board Meeting to present background information of the applicant.
- Fees payable (Please note that Entrance Fee is one-time payment only.)
